DIY Polaroid Frame
Hello lovelies,
Last night Andrew and I got down to some DIY. Andrew got some of his Instagrams printed and I trawled Pinterest to find an easy way to frame them. We decided to go for rustic frame look and used some string and pegs to hang them up like a washing line. It is so easy to do and you can use this frame any way you like! I might even use it soon for hanging notes and things.
What you will need:
A frame (I found mine from a junk shop and just love the second hand effect!)
Newspaper (for your work area)
String
Super glue
Measuring tape
Level (if you're pedantic about straighness)
Small pegs
Masking tape
Scissors
Pencil
Printed pictures (Andrew got his printed with Nifty250)
Steps:
Step 1
Lay out your pictures the way you'd like them to hang. My frame wasn't that large so I thought I'd make two rows of pictures
Step 2
Measure out things. I am a huge sucker fo using my eye as a measuring device which is probably not the smartest when it comes to DIY. Measure out where you're going to place the string, keeping in mind the size of your photographs and where you'd like them to hang
Step 3
Mark out where you are going to place the string. This is where you might want to use a level so your line doesn't turn out wonky
Step 3
Turn the frame over. Place the string down where you've made your pencil marks. Use super glue to stick the string down and then cover it with masking tape. It should hold well. Make sure the string is tight on either side so the pictures don't hang all droopy
Step 4
Cut away any excess string or masking tape on the side of the frame
Step 5
Hang up your pictures!

This is my desk at home at the moment. I'm loving the new frame here!
Let me know how your frames turn out! I'd love to hear from you :)
Love from,
Theo xx
